As regular viewers of the Charley Project know, I post most resolved cases in their own section, detailing the circumstances of each person's disappearance and location. This includes family abduction cases. Several times I have been contacted by the accused parties in family abduction cases, or by people acting on their behalf, who ask me to alter or remove specific resolved notices. Usually the individual claims that the abduction was justified, that the criminal charges were dropped, and/or that they currently have custody of the child they were accused of abducting. However, the status of Charley Project cases involving family abduction is determined by the existence of court orders or warrants, and not by me. I have never acceded to any such requests about my resolved cases and probably will never do so. I have decided not to respond at all to any more such requests.
