Details of Disappearance
Bamford was discharged from the Gateway Mental Health facility in Columbia County, Florida at 11:00 a.m. on May 13, 1996. He was en route, on foot, back to his residence in Starke, Florida at the time of his disappearance. He wasn't carrying any identification or money. Bamford never arrived at his house and has not been seen again. Few details are available in his case.
