Black hair, brown eyes. Barahona Paz speaks only Spanish. She may spell her first name "Aleida," hyphenate her last names or use them separately.
Details of Disappearance
Barahona Paz is from Honduras. She arrived in the United States in June 2008 and, after being briefly detained by immigration authorities, was sent to live with relatives in Port Royal, Pennsylvania. Barahona Paz disappeared a few weeks later, on July 2, but her family didn't report it for a week. Authorities believe she ran away with her adult boyfriend, who was living in Alexandria, Virginia at the time. She reportedly didn't want to live with her relatives and was afraid she would be deported.Barahona Paz may be in the Alexandria area. Foul play is not suspected in her case, which remains unsolved.
