Missing Since: May 20, 2007 from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Classification: Missing Date Of Birth: July 2, 1957 Age: 49 years old Height and Weight: 5'9, 180 pounds Distinguishing Characteristics: Caucasian male. Light brown hair, green eyes. Battle has healed fractures of his nose and right index finger, and two toes are missing on his right foot. He has the following tattoos: two small lightning bolts on his right hand, a star on his left hand, a Zig Zag man on his chest, and a heart with vines and the name "Dana" on his right shoulder. His nickname is Russ. Clothing/Jewelry Description: A blue pullover shirt, blue jeans, white sneakers and a watch.
Details of Disappearance
Battles was last seen in the vicinity of the southwest 29th and Macarthur Boulevard in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on May 20, 2007. He told his family family he was getting a ride from an acquaintance to the local bus station to travel to Austin, Texas to see his daughter. He took a red Marlboro backpack full of clothes, a leather bifold wallet, and a 9mm Luger handgun with the serial numbered P1317066. Battles never arrived in Austin and has never been heard from again. Few details are available in his case. Oklahoma City police are investigating.
