    Details of Disappearance

Bello-Medina was employed as a cannery worker at the National Food Corporation in Silvana, Washington in 1993. She was married to Cruz Jubenal Carrera and lived in the 19800 block of Saratoga Drive in Stanwood, Washington. Both Bello-Medina and her husband were citizens of Xochipala in the Mexican state of Guerrero. She was last seen at approximately 9:30 a.m. on December 13, 1993 with Antonio Ordaz-Ortero, who was 22 years old at the time.

Bello-Medina's family members reported her as a missing person when she failed to retrieve her three-year-old son from the babysitter later in the day. Her gray Ford Tempo was discovered abandoned in a post office parking lot in Stanwood later in the evening. There was no sign of her at the scene. Bello-Medina's whereabouts remain unknown. She is described as a devoted mother who wouldn't have abandoned her two children, and investigators don't believe she went missing voluntarily.
