Details of Disappearance
Bendele was last seen hunting in the Laidlaw Park, Idaho area on November 17, 1996. His vehicle was discovered abandoned in the region shortly after his disappearance, but there was no sign of him at the scene. Bendele has never been heard from again. Authorities suspect he was taken against his will.
