Details of Disappearance
Shoshana was last seen in Holbrook, Massachusetts on August 1, 1997. She was abducted by her non-custodial mother, Karen Debra Black. A photograph and vital statistics for Karen are posted below this case summary. A Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) warrant for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution was issued for her on May 11, 1998, ten months after she abducted Shoshana. Shoshana and her mother have never been heard from again. They may be in Israel.
