Bovard was last seen at the home of a Zachary, Louisiana man sometime during the month of February, 1983. Bovard's parents, whom he lived with in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, reported him missing after he didn't come home for several days. He has never been heard from again. His truck was later found abandoned near St. Francissville, Louisiana.
