Details of Disappearance
Bracamontes was last seen in Watsonville, California on May 2, 2005. She and her brother, Carlos Pacheco, were abducted by their non-custodial father, Adrian Aguilar Pacheco. The children were in foster care at the time; their father kidnapped them during a visit. Authorities haven't disclosed the reason the children were in foster care, but they stated their mother and Adrian had parted ways by the time of the abductions. Adrian was allowed to take the children out on unsupervised visits and would normally return them to their foster home on Hollowview Lane by early evening.A photograph and vital statistics for Adrian are posted below this case summary. A felony warrant for kidnapping was issued for him on May 5, 2005. Adrian and his children may still be in the local area or may have left the state. They may be traveling in a brown four-door vehicle. There is concern for Carlos and Bracamontes's safety, as Adrian had a criminal record and a history of drug abuse. They may still be in the United States. The children's whereabouts are unknown and cases remain unsolved.
