  • Medical Conditions: Burroughs had surgery on his shoulder a few weeks before his disappearance. At the time he went missing, his arm was still in a sling as a result of the surgery.

    Details of Disappearance

    Burroughs was last seen on August 14, 2007 at his residence in Hamilton Township, New Jersey. He has never been heard from again. At the time of his disappearance, he was preparing to move to Florida. He had fixed up his New Jersey home so he could sell it, and had purchased generators and other items to take to Florida. He has never been heard from again.

    Burroughs's wife said he ran away with another woman, his family does not believe this story. He left behind all his belongings, including his wristwatch, his cherished model airplanes and a drum set worth $8,000 to $10,000, and none of his loved ones had heard he was having an affair. With days of his disappearance, his wife began selling all of his property.

    Burroughs's disappearance remains unsolved. Little evidence is available in his case.
