Details of Disappearance
James and his sister Andrea disappeared from Cary, Illinois on June 4, 2009. They were abducted by their non-custodial mother, Sonia Del Carmen Leon De Carol. A photograph and vital statistics for Sonia are posted below this case summary. A felony warrant for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution was issued for her on September 15, 2009. Sonia, Andrea and James may be in Mexico City or Villahermosa in Mexico. Andrea was born in Mexico, but James was born in the United States. The children's whereabouts are unknown and their cases remain unsolved.
