Details of Disappearance
Carty was last seen boarding a bus at the Greensboro, North Carolina bus depot on October 19, 2009. She had a brown suitcase with her. She was en route to Atlanta, Georgia to turn herself in to authorities; she had a bench warrant there. Carty called her family from Charlotte, North Carolina, but has not had contact with them since.
