Details of Disappearance
Jobane last seen in Harvard, Illinois on July 26, 1998. He was abducted by his non-custodial father, Isidro Mendoza Castenada, during a visit to his mother's house. A photograph and vital statistics for Isidro are posted below this case summary. A Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) warrant for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution was issued for him on June 9, 1999.Jobane and Isidro may be in Estado de Mexico, Mexico. The child's whereabouts are unknown and his case remains unsolved.
