    Details of Disappearance

Coleman was last seen in Jacksonville, Texas on July 3, 2006. She has never been heard from again. She was reported missing on August 7, after she did not show up at a scheduled meeting with her grandmother. Coleman lead a transient lifestyle at the time of her disappearance.

Coleman is an associate of Larry Pugh, a former Jacksonville police officer who was convicted of forcing women to have sex with him while he was on duty. She disappeared while Pugh was free on bond. He allegedly attacked and attempted to strangle one of the witnesses against him. Another witness, Terri Renee Troublefield Reyes, disappeared in May 2006, before she was scheduled to testify against Pugh. Her skeleton was found in the Angelina National Forest in September 2006, but was not identified until June 2007. Foul play is suspected in her death.

Authorities have stated that, in spite of Coleman and Reyes's known connection to Pugh, there is no hard evidence that he was involved in either woman's case. They are not ruling out the possibility, however. Coleman's disappearance remains unsolved.
