    Details of Disappearance

Thomas was released from prison in January 2007, after serving a fifteen-year sentence for rape. He was last seen in Garrett, Pennsylvania sometime during the summer or fall of 2008. He lived with his wife, Jeannette Battle-Conrad, in the 1700 block of Berlin Street. He may also have relatives in Connecticut.

Thomas and Jeannette's home burned down in April 2009. Jeanette was arrested for arson in January 2010 She allegedly burned down their home to collect the insurance money. No one had reported Thomas as a missing person and the police didn't realize he was missing for nearly two years, when another police department asked them to look for him. They have located his vehicle, a Jeep, which had been sold to someone in Reading, Pennsylvania. Authorities haven't stated whether they believe the fire or Jeannette are connected to Thomas's disappearance, but they believe Thomas may have been murdered. His case remains unsolved.
