Details of Disappearance
Critchfield was last seen in Auburn, Washington on November 11, 1998. She was abducted by her non-custodial mother, Laura Jean Kielland. A photograph and vital statistics for Kielland are posted below this case summary. A felony warrant was issued for her on January 21, 2000, over a year after she abducted Critchfield. They are believed to have gone to Costa Rica. Critchfield's case remains unsolved.
