Gray hair, brown eyes. Demers is shown wearing eyeglasses in some of the photos above; he no longer wore them at the time of his disappearance. His nickname is Ed. Demers speaks with a New England accent. Clothing/Jewelry Description: A t-shirt, khaki-green shorts and black shoes. Medical Conditions: Demers was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease two years before his disappearance. He requires medication to treat his condition. He did not have his medicine with him when he vanished.
Details of Disappearance
Demers was last seen leaving his Johnsburg, Illinois home on the morning of October 13, 2003. He planned to talk a walk along Bay Road. Demers may have been seen near the Pistakee Country Club in Johnsburg shortly after he left his home. He never returned and has never been heard from again. The day of his disappearance was sunny and warm, but the temperature dropped during the night and it rained.Demers carried an old identification card in his wallet at the time of his disappearance; the card gave an address in Woodstock, Illinois. He does not have access to a vehicle. He frequents the Fox Lake, McHenry, and Johnsburg, Illinois areas. Demers's case remains unsolved.
