Details of Disappearance
Dowd was last seen by his brother at 11:30 a.m. on January 7, 2007, in Los Angeles County, California. He left to return his sister's silver 2003 Honda Civic, but never arrived. He has never been heard from again. Dowd's sister's vehicle was found abandoned in the Angeles National Forest in Azusa Canyon later that same day.Dowd's loved ones did not report him missing until January 21, because he had a habit of dropping out of sight for days at a time. He has never been gone for this long before, however, His disappearance remains unsolved.
