Missing Since: May 10, 1973 from Bridgewater, New Jersey Classification: Endangered Missing Date of Birth: March 2, 1948 Age: 25 years old Height and Weight: 6'4 - 6'6, 200 - 215 pounds Distinguishing Characteristics: Caucasian male. Brown hair, brown eyes. Dziowgo's nickname is Joe and he may use the name Joe Jeffco. He had a beard and mustache at the time of his disappearance, and he wears eyeglasses. Dziowgo has the following tattoos: a Marine Corps insignia with the letters "U.S.M.C." on his right forearm and a heart with the names "Tonya" and "Linda" on his left forearm. A photo of the tattoos is posted below this case summary. He may have a slight scar on his forehead.
Details of Disappearance
After a domestic dispute, Dziowgo was arrested by the Bridgewater Police Department in Bridgewater, New Jersey on May 9, 1973. He was charged with assault and battery and malicious damage to property. On May 10, Dziowgo's father went to the police department to visit his son and was told he had been transferred to the Somerset County Jail. When his father went to the jail, however, they told him they didn't have him in custody. Dziowgo's family hasn't seen or heard from him since.There was a possible sighting of Dziowgo in Round Brook, New Jersey on May 17, a week after his disappearance. His current whereabouts are unknown and the circumstances of his disappearance are unclear. He was born in the New York City borough of the Bronx.
