Details of Disappearance
Mitchell and his sister, Alicia, had been missing from Bethel, Alaska since on August 11, 2006. They are believed to have been abducted by their non-custodial mother, Denise Jeanine Festervand. Photographs and vital statistics for Denise are posted below this case summary. A Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) warrant for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution was issued for her on March 27, 2007. The family is believed to be in the company of an adult male and a juvenile male.Alicia and Mitchell were last known to be living in Arkansas. The children's current whereabouts are unknown and their cases remain unsolved.
