Black hair, brown to black eyes. Echavez is of Filipino descent. He has a scar on the center of the back of his head. Echavez's nickname is Mesk. Some agencies give his middle name as Jose. Clothing/Jewelry Description: A t-shirt, size 32 blue jeans, a black or dark blue jacket, and a silver Diesel watch.
Details of Disappearance
Echavez was last seen at approximately 4:07 p.m. on October 16, 2003. He was house-sitting for a friend in the vicinity of the 400 block of 12th Street in New York City, New York, in the borough of Manhattan. He called a family member and said he was going to his own residence near the 200 block of 75th Street, and would return to his friend's residence soon after. Echavez has never been heard from again. Few details are available in his case. His family is concerned for his safety, as they have not heard from him since his disappearance.
