Kite, his girlfriend, Amanda Wood; and their three children, Keesha Finds The Feather, 7; Isaac Finds The Feather, 4; and Justin Finds The Feather, 3; were reported by Wood's family on May 7, 2008. They had last heard from her on April 8, 2008; she said she was in Fresno, California at the time with Kite and the children. None of them have ever been heard from again.

In addition to being listed as missing persons, Wood and Kite are considered fugitives; shortly after their disappearances, authorities issued warrants for their arrest for marijuana cultivation. They had been arrested in February 2008 on charges of drug possession and cultivation as well as child endangerment after a raid uncovered a large indoor marijuana growing operation. Their children were taken into protective custody at that time. Kite and Wood had gotten the children back out of foster care by the time of their later disappearances.

Authorities believe Wood and Kite may be traveling together with the children. It's unclear whether the adults are running from the law or if other factors caused their disappearances. Photographs and information for Keesha, Isaac and Justin are unavailable. Mendocinco County, California police are investigating.
