Frost was last seen on February 16, 1981. She and her husband of 26 years went out to dinner and returned to their home in the 3700 block of south 95th East Avenue in Tulsa, Oklahoma at 8:00 p.m. After he went to bed, Frost apparently decided to go to the grocery store. She never returned and has never been heard from again. Her husband realized she was missing when he woke up at 5:00 a.m. the next day.

The day after her disappearance, Frost's husband found her two-tone gray two-door 1980 Buick Skylark in the parking lot of the Skaggs Alpha Beta grocery store parking lot at 21st Street and south Memorial Drive. The keys were in the driver's door lock. Inside the vehicle was a grocery sack containing cheese; the receipt indicated it had been purched at anothergrocery store in the 2700 block of south Memorial Drive at 10:20 p.m. There was no sign of Frost at the scene.

Frost was carrying her driver's license at the time of her disappearance. She has two children and worked as a nurse for an eye surgeon at St. John Medical Center. Foul play is suspected in her case, which remains unsolved.
