Details of Disappearance
Galicia was last seen in Mesa, Arizona on June 6, 2003. She took the bus to Powell Junior High School, where she was in summer school, and attended her first class. At 9:30 a.m., she asked to use the telephone and was overheard giving directions to the school. Galicia did not show up for her next class and has not been seen or heard from since. A search of the area turned up no signs of her.Authorities believe Galicia may have run away with her adult boyfriend and is possibly staying in Mexico with his family. They asked the Mexican consulate to get in touch with Galicia's boyfriend's family to verify this theory, but Galicia's whereabouts are still unknown. Her case is unsolved.
