Details of Disappearance
Gaona was last seen in Grand Prairie, Texas on November 27, 1984. He has never been heard from again. He wasn't reported missing until two years later. There were reports that Gaona was in witness protection, but U.S. Marshalls, who are in charge of the federal Witness Security Program, were unable to substantiate this claim. He may have been taken against his will. Few details are available in Gaona's case.
