Elizabeth and her brother Abel disappeared from Brunswick, Georgia on May 30, 2008. They were abducted by their non-custodial mother, Maria De La Luz Lara. A photograph and vital statistics for Lara are posted below this case summary. A felony warrant for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution was issued for her on September 8, 2008. Lara, Abel and Elizabeth may be in Mexico. The children's whereabouts are unknown and their cases remain unsolved.
