Goode was last seen in Orlando, Florida sometime during February 1981. She walked away from her cousin's residence and disappeared. There was a possible sighting of her during the summer of 1981, in the company of a Caucasian male transient and presumed alcoholic. The sighting has not been confirmed and Goode has never been heard from again. Her family did not report her missing until February 18, 1982. That date is sometimes listed as the date of her disapperance.

Goode was a heavy alcohol drinker at the time of her disappearance and authorities believe she may have simply walked out of her life and become a transient. Few details are available in her case, but she is presumed dead.
