    Details of Disappearance

Greaves left her residence in a mobile home park near 900 West 500 South in Woods Cross, Utah on August 5, 1983, on her way to a job interview in Salt Lake City, Utah. She did not own a car and planned to take the Utah Transit Authority bus to Salt Lake City. It is has been established that Greaves did arrive at Salt Lake City and called a friend from there from there at 12:00 p.m., but she never returned home and has never been heard from again.

Douglas Lovell was questioned in Greaves's disappearance in 1993, and in the 1985 disappearance of another Utah woman, Sheree Warren. Lovell pleaded guilty to the 1985 murder of Joyce Yost, stating he had killed her to keep her from testifying against him in a rape case. Her body was never found. He was sentenced to death, but his guilty plea was overturned on a techicality in 2010 and he will have to face trial again. Lovell maintains his innocence in Greaves and Warren's disappearances and was cooperative with investigators.

Greaves was born in New Jersey. She was living with a roommate at the time of her disappearance. Foul play is suspected in her case.
