Details of Disappearance
Hieronymous was last seen in Charlotte, North Carolina on February 26, 2009. He left his home in the 2500 block of Chesterfield Avenue in the middle of the night, possibly to smoke a cigarette, and never returned. He left behind all his belongings, including his wallet, cellular phone, identification, keys, and vehicle.Hieronymous was a civil engineer employed by the city of Charlotte, but he lost his job not long before his disappearance. It's uncharacteristic of him to leave without warning, and police are investigating his case as a possible homicide.
