Hobbs was last known to be living on Edgebury Road in Raleigh, North Carolina, and working in Cary, North Carolina. According to her husband, she abruptly left him in October or November 2008 and went to California, leaving her car behind at home. She has never been heard from again. Hobbs was not reported missing until October 2009; her brother filed the report. There has been no activity on her credit cards or bank accounts since her disappearance, and no evidence that she has been employed anywhere. Foul play is possible in her case, which remains unsolved.
