    Details of Disappearance

Hubbard was last seen in Elmira, New York on March 24, 2009. He lived in the 400 block of Deckard Place. He wasn't reported missing for eighteen days. After his disappearance, the door to his home was found kicked in and his television was missing. Hubbard left his dogs at home alone and without making arrangements for someone to take care of them, which is uncharacteristic of him. Hubbard's red Dodge Caravan was found after his disappearance, parked on Fourth Street, a place he had never been to. Some unspecified evidence of a crime was found inside the van.

In April 2012, Robert Storms was charged with robbery and second-degree murder in Hubbard's case. A photo of Storms is posted below this case summary. Authorities stated the two men knew each other; they believe Storms killed Hubbard sometime between March 24 and April 13, by striking him with a frying pan. Storms is awaiting trial.

Foul play is suspected in Hubbard's disappearance due to the circumstances involved.
