Details of Disappearance
Jankas disappeared while on a trip from Michigan to Illinois on July 29, 1996. He had contact with the police in Santa Monica, California in December 2000. He was living in a local homeless shelter at the time. He has never been heard from again and his current whereabouts are unknown. Michigan police are investigating his case.
