Details of Disappearance
Jones was last seen in Quincy, Florida on November 9, 2000. He lived with Mary Hines in the Dogtown area off the Attapulgus Highway at the time of his disappearance. Hines disappeared at the same time Jones did; photographs and vital statistics for her are unavailable. It is believed they may have traveled to the Grady County, Georgia area.Jones was reported missing by his cousin on December 11, 2000, a month after he was last seen. His family stated it is uncharacteristic of him to be out of touch with them. In addition, at the time of his disappearance he was complaining of bad headaches. The circumstances surrounding Jones's disappearance are unclear.
