Lau disappeared with his mother, Jessica Clark. They were last seen in Meridian, Idaho on November 13, 2010. She disappeared with her son, Kobi Ray Lau. They were en route from Redding, California to Boise, Idaho at the time, driving a black 1996 Nissan Pathfinder with the Idaho license plate number 1AZM425. Jessica called her mother at 8:00 p.m. and said she'd been robbed and was stuck in Redding. She may have been with two adult males at the time. Neither she nor her son have ever been heard from again. Few details are available in Lau and Clark's cases; they remain unsolved.
