Liles was last seen at his residence on Cedar Lane in Nashville, Tennessee on May 5, 1992. Investigation after he was reported missing revealed that Liles's car keys were found inside his vehicle, which was parked in his driveway. There were no signs of forced entry or a struggle at the house. Liles's dog was discovered in Nashboro Woods later in the day, but there was no sign of Liles at the scene. He has never been heard from again. Foul play is suspected in Liles's case.
