Details of Disappearance
Lira Ancona disappeared from Mesa, Arizona on February 27, 2010. Authorities believe she was abducted by her non-custodial father and taken to Mexico. Photographs and information for the father are unavailable. Lira Ancona's mother has applied for her return to the United States under the terms of the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction.
