    Details of Disappearance

Marler was last seen at approximately 9:30 a.m. on June 6, 1984 in downtown Greenville, Alabama. She and her stepfather were at the First National Bank and he gave her a dollar to buy a soda. Marler left the bank and was last seen crossing the street towards the Chevron gas station.

When her stepfather returned to his pickup truck fifteen minutes later, Marler was nowhere to be found. She has never been heard from again. She is described as a tomboy who enjoyed farm work in 1984 and knew how to drive a tractor. Marler's mother does not believe she ran away; she had been looking forward to watching her favorite television show and visiting her grandmother on the day of her disappearance. Her case remains unsolved and is classified as a non-family abduction.
