Missing Since: October 4, 2003 from New Britain, Connecticut Classification: Endangered Missing Date of Birth: May 7, 1963 Age: 40 years old Height and Weight: 5'4, 125 - 145 pounds Distinguishing Characteristics: Caucasian female. Blonde hair, blue eyes. Menard has a tattoo of a rose on the right side of her chest and shoulder, and a scar on her back. She may go by her initials, M.J. Clothing/Jewelry Description: A yellow sweater and blue jeans. Medical Conditions: Menard is an alcoholic who had been sober for years prior to her disappearance. She may have been abusing illegal drugs, however.
Details of Disappearance
Menard was last seen in New Britain, Connecticut on October 4, 2003. She went out to get cigarettes and never returned. She has never been heard from again. After going into recovery for her alcoholism, Menard became a substance abuse counselor. She reportedly became romantically involved with a client and started using illegal drugs. It's unclear whether any of this is related to her disappearance. Few details are available in her case. Menard lived in Waterbury, Connecticut at the time of her disappearance and that city's authorities are investigating her case.
