Missing Since: December 23, 1980 from Phoenix, Arizona Classification: Endangered Missing Date of Birth: November 30, 1961 Age: 19 years old Height and Weight: 5'3, 125 pounds Distinguishing Characteristics: Caucasian female. Blonde hair, green eyes. Mims's nickname is Ali. She has cut marks on both wrists. Clothing/Jewelry Description: A light blue sweater, white pants, gray calf-high zippered boots, a gold chain necklace with a silver cross, and a silver ring with a black stone that has a little diamond in the middle of it.
Details of Disappearance
Mims was last seen leaving her mother's wedding in Phoenix, Arizona between 11:30 p.m. and midnight on December 23, 1980. She told her mother she was giving a ride to a wedding guest who was too drunk to drive. The guest's home was in the vicinity of 59th Avenue and Missouri Avenue in Glendale, Arizona. Mims has never been heard from again. Her vehicle, a cream-colored four-door 1974 Oldsmobile, was later found abandoned in the area of 20th Avenue and Bethany Home Road in Glendale. Mims is missing under suspicious circumstances and foul play is suspected.
