Details of Disappearance
Montemayor was last seen at his boarding school in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico on January 4, 2001, three days after his fifteenth birthday. He is believed to have left of his own accord and fled to the United States. His case remains unsolved.The Charley Project does not usually profile cases from outside the United States. An exception was made in Montemayor's case because he is believed to be in the States.
