Jonathan was last seen in Santa Fe, Texas on October 1, 1998. He was abducted by his non-custodial mother, Fidela Rodriguez-Mora. Photographs of Fidela are unavailable. She is a black-haired, brown-eyed woman, 5'2 tall and 110 pounds. Her date of birth in November 14, 1976; she was twenty-one years old at the time she abducted Jonathan.

A felony warrant for interference with child custody has been issued for Fidela. She and Mora may be in the San Luis Potosi, Mexico area, possibly accompanied by an adult male and an infant. Jonathan's case remains unsolved. Galveston, Texas police are investigating his abduction.
