Missing Since: April 27, 1993 from Fresno, California Classification: Non-Family Abduction Date Of Birth: January 13, 1981 Age: 12 years old Height and Weight: 5'0, 100 pounds Distinguishing Characteristics: Hispanic female. Brown hair, brown eyes. Munoz has a cauliflower left ear, which is an acquired deformity of the outer ear. Her name may be given as Janeth Karina Munoz-Rivera.
Details of Disappearance
Munoz was abducted on April 27, 1993 by Federico Alvarado from Fresno, California. Neither of them have been seen again. Alvarado may have taken Munoz out of the state of California and possibly to Mexico. Photos and vital statistics for Alvarado are currently unavailable, but he was approximately 19 to 22 years old in 1993. Munoz's case remains unsolved.Some agencies classify Munoz as an endangered runaway.
