    Olanna was last seen in Nome, Alaska on August 18, 1984. He has never been heard from again.

    Reuben Rock was later convicted of first-degree murder in Olanna's case. Both men were from Brevig Mission, Alaska. Prosecutors believe Rock stabbed Olanna to death during an argument. His remains have never been located, but foul play is suspected in his case due to the circumstances involved.
