Details of Disappearance
Ornelas was last seen in Novato, California on April 1, 1990. He has never been heard from again. A short time afterwards, he missed a court date in San Mateo, California and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Authorities thought at the time that he was hiding in the Colfax, California area. Few details are available in Ornelas's case and it's unclear whether he is, in fact, running from the law. The San Mateo charges have been dropped. His case remains unsolved.
