Details of Disappearance
Lukas was last seen in Oakland, California on November 11, 2002. He was abducted by his mother, Jeidy Aictza Rubiano. Photographs and vital statistics for Rubiano are posted below this case summary. A felony warrant for child abduction was issued for her on February 10, 2003.Rubiano had custody of Lukas at the time of his abduction, but Lukas's father had visitation several days a week. The couple had never married. After the baby was kidnapped, his father was able to get full custody of him because Rubiano had violated the visitation agreement. She and Lukas may be in Mexico; Rubiano is a Mexican citizen. The child's whereabouts are unknown and his case remains unsolved.

Distinguishing Characteristics: Hispanic female. Brown hair, brown eyes. Rubiano's hair was dyed red and was shoulder-length at the time she abducted Pokorny. She may also dye her hair blonde. She has a starfish tattoo around her ankle and a tattoo of a sun and moon on the back of her shoulder. She may use the first names Hedi, Heidi and/or Jeidi, or the last name Vielma. Rubiano has a scar under her chin.
