Missing Since: June 16, 2009 from the Bronx, New York Classification: Missing Date of Birth: March 8, 1991 Age: 18 years old Height and Weight: 5'10 - 5'11, 190 - 215 pounds Distinguishing Characteristics: Biracial (African-American/Caucasian) male. Black hair, brown eyes. Pope has very wide, flat feet. He has a birthmark on one of his ears that resembles a piercing. His nickname is Jake and he may also use the names Max, Pepe and/or Zell. Clothing/Jewelry Description: A white shirt with white buttons, size 38x30 Wrangler jeans, a long dark gray men's wool JC Penney coat with a design on the front of a bare tree with black birds and a guitar leaning against the tree, a navy blue knit dress cap, a dark brown or black belt, worn black slip-on shoes and a Peugeot watch.
Details of Disappearance
Pope was last seen at his residence in the 1700 block of Melville Street in the New York City borough of the Bronx on June 16, 2009. At the time of his disappearance, he was carrying a black briefcase that doubled as a shoulder bag. The briefcase contained a Grandmaster chess board. Pope has never been heard from again. His family stated he was worried about employment prior to his disappearance. They believe he left with someone he met online. His case remains unsolved.
