Oscar and his fourteen-year-old sister, Adriana, disappeared from Gurnee, Illinois on March 19, 2006. A photo of Adriana is posted below this case summary. They were abducted by their non-custodial father, Oscar Alejandro Rabadan Hernandez. A photograph and vital statistics for the elder Oscar are posted below this case summary. A felony warrent for kidnapping was issued for him on March 23, 2006. The children's parents had never married, and their mother had a court order in place prohibiting their father from taking them from her home without permission. He had a weekend visitation and never returned them.Adriana was found safe in June 2011, but Oscar is still missing. He and his father may be in Mexico and may be traveling a black 1992 Ford Econoline Cutaway truck with the . The child's whereabouts are unknown and his case remains unsolved.
