    Details of Disappearance

Alexander was last seen with his father, Thomas Riffenburg, and his mother, Jennifer Walsh, in Palmdale, California on January 9, 2009. A photo of Thomas is posted below this case summary.

On November 15, 2010, Thomas was arrested in St. Paul, Oregon. Walsh and Alexander weren't with him at the time. He was subsequently sentenced to a long prison term for seven counts of robbery, and in June 2015, he attacked and killed his cellmate at the Snake River Correctional Institution. He pleaded guilty to aggravated murder and was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Although they went missing at the same time, authorities believe Walsh and her son may not be together. Their cases remain unsolved.
