    Details of Disappearance

    Roberson was last seen in Escambia County, Florida on May 10, 1984. Her vehicle and purse were discovered abandoned at the entrance of Fort Pickens shortly after her disappearance. Fort Pickens is located on the Gulf Islands National Seashore on West Santa Rosa Island, Florida. She had gone there to sunbathe by herself. Her blanket was found on the beach, and one set of footprints leading to the water.

    Authorities believe Roberson may have drowned. They are continuing to investigate possible leads in her disappearance, but Roberson's case remains unsolved.
