Taylor was last seen in Clare County, Michigan sometime during June 2007. He was last seen leaving his mother's home in the Oakridge subdivision west of Farwell. He used that address, although he didn't actually live there. Taylor and another man were making repairs to his mother's roof when he vanished. He had borrowed an advance payment to pay some court courts he incurred from a 2006 arrest. He has never been heard from again and his court costs were never paid.

Taylor's mother didn't report him missing until June 2009. She said he had been away from home for extended periods before, working for a traveling circus, and she hoped he had simply left on his own again and would return on his own. There has been no activity on his Social Security number, credit cards or bank accounts since June 2007. Foul play is suspected in his case, which remains unsolved.
